What to do in Welcome Week
Welcome Week (Monday 17 – Friday 21 September) is an opportunity to get to know Queen Mary and find out about your programme, the Students' Union and all the support available to you. Hear from our students about what to expect.

Enrolment

Enrolment takes place in the Octagon in the Queens’ Building at the Mile End campus. You will be emailed a time to enrol between Monday 17 and Wedsnesday 19 September. If you selected early enrolment then you should have a slot to enrol between Friday 14 and Sunday 16 September.

Programme introduction

You should have received information directly from your school or institute about programme introduction events during Welcome Week. Programme introduction schedules can also be found on the new students' website. It's important you go to these events so that you get the best possible start at Queen Mary.

Welcome Fair

The Welcome Fair is your chance to join societies, sports clubs, volunteering groups and student media, as well as to grab freebies from national companies and your Students’ Union outlets. It takes place at Mile End on Wednesday 19 and Thursday 20 September and at Whitechapel on the Wednesday.

Wellbeing Hub

Visit the Wellbeing Hub in Library Square from 10am-4pm on Wednesday and Thursday of Welcome Week for information on student wellbeing services, advice on sexual health, drug and alcohol use, and staying safe and healthy. You'll also be able to get a free Meningitis ACWY vaccination if you are aged 25 or under and have not had it already.

More events and activities

You can find a complete events guide for Welcome Week and beyond on the new students' site, including the Students' Union's programme of events and activities. Why not book onto one of the Welcome Week tours to help you explore your new home?
